przemo 0 #1 January 17, 2006 Hello everyone, Im to buy sec hand rig. It's Javelin OJ+Sabre 150+Tempo 150+Cypres. The problem is that in the line with Container Sizzing Chart at Sunpath website for OJ there's up to ZP 139 recommended. All the people I asked say that 150 sqft in it would be tight but fine for some time. I'd like to ask what do you think about that? All the opinions will be very much appreciated! Greetings for all! p.
skybytch 273 #2 January 17, 2006 How good are you at packing? If you struggle to get a main into the correct size container, you won't like packing that 150 into an OJ. How humid is it where you live? If it's a more humid area it won't be as bad to pack as it would be in a less humid area. Can you try packing it up before you make the purchase final? That will tell you more than anything anybody here can say. Personally I wouldn't do it. Overstuffing a container puts stress on the container flaps and grommets, an overstuffed container looks bad and it will probably feel like a brick on your back. I wish DZ.com was around when I bought my first rig. I specified smallest/tight fit for canopies ordered and it was one of my biggest regrets. That's one of the perks of of getting older and more distinguished loooking ....you don't always have to be right or think you are smarter than everybody about EVERYTHING. That poor Talon didn't get broken in for two years. But hey, my back and shoulders really appreciated it.
