Carrier Pigeons in Prison bust

Recommended Posts

Quote

Too bad they (prisoners) dont apply themselves in a similar way to becoming productive members of society.[:/]

Given that this Country imprisons people on trivial and frivolous drug charges more than any other country in the world, I'm not going to make the association that the person in prison is there because they did not positively contribute to society before they went in.

Inmates using carrier pigeons to smuggle drugs and cell phones into the prison.

Issue the prison guards in the guard towers BB guns and let them have all the target practice they want.

Another option comes to mind here:

I agree - but it's interesting that you only put this label on illegal drugs... There are plenty of things that are legal that one can be addicted to that equally destroy lives. Alcohol, anti-depressants, sleeping pills even food, etc, etc... Anything done outside the realm of moderation is bad juju.

Illegal drugs fuck up lives plain and simple.

As do legal drugs. Should we outlaw them too?

Ok, then to simplify the conversation let's say cocaine. It will never be legal because it has little value other than as a recreational drug. It's addictive and popular which makes the sale of it a lucrative trade for gangs. These gangs viciously defend their trade ESPECIALLY IN BRAZIL.

Anyone who thinks otherwise needs to leave the suburbs and go find out how their blow gets to them.

Damn people my point was not so much that illegal/legal drugs fuck up lives. I was just saying that if these inmates put their creative talents to use via higher education, science, disease cures or what have you then the world would be a better place.

Oh hell, what's the fun in that?

As usual, Bruce Schneier says it best:

I think this is the first security vulnerability found in RFC 1149: "Standard for the transmission of IP datagrams on avian carriers." Deep packet inspection seems to be the only way to prevent this attack, although adequate fencing will prevent the protocol from running in the first place.

It wouldn't hurt you to think like a fucking serial killer every once in a while - just for the sake of prevention
