skydiverek 63 #2 January 14, 2006 When you pack, this flap is touching the ground/mud. I think the idea is to protect the harnes stitches from ground fricction when sliding the rig.

When I put them on the first Vector 1, some of the jumpers in my shop thought they were excessive, or at least an unnecessary decoration...kinda like the "mud flaps" on an old "Pimp-mobile". So they called them mud flaps too, probably just to make fun of me. I actually put them there to cover up, and protect the main ring stitch pattern from sunlight or abrasion. Can anyone think of a better name? I've never really appreciated the joke.

Flagelegurnackbumbernators. or "Embroidery receptive areas" Officially on the Reflex we called them 4 point covers, RMR 01-1 -83 four point covers to be exact. But that's kinda long winded, so 4 point covers they be. Hope colorado is treating you well. Mick.
