mnealtx 0 #26 July 4, 2008 Quote Quote And time to 'fess up- the July 4th goal? I'm exactly where I was at when we started! So am I. It's all due to eating. I couldn't possibly workout enough to end up in a calorie deficit the way we cook and eat around here. I'm going back to the beginning. Back to my 'fitday.com' food profile back in June of '07, when I dropped all of that weight so fast. I'm going to eat the same stuff I did back then. That's the only way the scale is going to budge for me. Something to remember, ladies... muscle weighs more than fat, so don't obsess TOO much over the scale - see if there's a difference in how your clothes are fitting. I've dropped from 2-teen's back under 210...some progress there. Still doing the miracle 7 exercises at work - I don't know that I'm getting STRONGER, but there's a little definition starting to show up and the muscles are firmer, so that's progress, too. Food-wise, I've been trying to do better... but the double-stuff oreos, they call me... I'm trying the "No S" diet to keep me on track, food-wise - it's pretty simple: No Seconds No Snacks No Sweets (except Sometimes onSundays). I'm breaking the 'no snacks' part, but there's no chow hall support on night shift, so I need to eat a little something between 7pm and 7am - I'm trying to keep it fairly healthy by getting stuff like almonds or popcorn for my 'lunch' rather than buying junk(ier) food.Mike I love you, Shannon and Jim. ladyskydiver 0 #27 July 4, 2008 I found a perfect way to stay motivated....order 2 bikini's from Victoria's Secret...and plan on wearing them. Got another 2.2 miles under my belt this morning. Life is short! Break the rules! Forgive quickly! Kiss slowly! Love truly, Laugh uncontrollably. And never regret anything that made you smile.
ACMESkydiver 0 #28 July 4, 2008 Awright! Congrats on getting that new position. Looks like all the hard work is paying off... And good luck for those specialized groups for the future.~Jaye Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action.
