skybytch 273 #1 July 12, 2008 Mary, Rose and I are currently in Old Station, CA, at the home of some wonderful "Trail angels." Tonight I get to sleep in a treehouse and eat food that has never been dehydrated. Today I got to take a shower. Tomorrow I get to do laundry. Life is good. We've covered almost 50 miles since the 5th. We've been swarmed by mosquitos many times, watched a deer eating 8 feet from the tent, Mar and Rose swam in a freezing cold lake, rode in the back of a pickup truck, met a BUNCH of cool people who are hiking the whole trail... While on the trail I thought what a great way for me to raise some money for JFTC 2009Rose and I have already logged a little over 100 miles and plan to keep going. Any pledges will be accepted May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view.
