Mama Mia!

Recommended Posts

Went out and saw Mama Mia today and have to say I was impressed with the production!

Meryl Streep was surrounded by a very talented cast, especially her 2 women friends who surprised me with their energy and amusing lines.

The choreography was impressive and extremely creative. Pierce Brosnan also sang! :o (he was a bit humble and a tad chagrined on David Letterman about that earlier this week).

I've never seen the play, but IMHO this movie is a must see. You'll come out of it smiling and laughing. The end scenes (just pre-credit) are priceless! I think they were having a HOOT of a time! :D

Definitely one for the DVD collection when it comes out. If not for the story (which is good) but for the scenes with Meryl that just stole the show!

yes, i went and saw this alone today :P definitely a chick flick!

it ain't gonna win any oscars, but it was very fun and the whole theatre was laughing and smiling at the end.

Go see dark knight for a good, serious, movie. See this for a vacation :P

Never meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup!

For sure! I caught myself laughing at different parts during this movie. Meryl is priceless in the way she completely owns this character. I think she really enjoyed the role and it comes out in the way she carries it.

You're right, however. Chick flick. You'll smile and laugh out loud with Mama Mia. If you want a story that's pretty straight forward this is for you. The Dark Knight may be a bit more of an intrigue. Perhaps I'll catch that this weekend...
