So I was reading an article on Jeb Corliss

Not exactly factually correct. See here:

A $12 million civil suit brought by the Empire State Building's owners is pending against Corliss for injuring a security guard and damaging the landmark's reputation and its revenue stream. Last month, Corliss filed a $30 million counterclaim, alleging unlawful imprisonment, defamation of character, emotional distress and loss of income.

What is not factually correct? He trespasses, gets caught, and then sues for $30,000,000. Why are the prior posters statements not accurate?

You seem oblivious to the fact the frivolous lawsuit filed by him is in response to the frivolous suit filed against him.

...is not factually complete.

In fact, it is quite rare for a defendant in a civil action to file only an answer to the complaint. At the very least, a counterclaim is an incentive to settlement negotiations, and if settlement cannot be reached, it offers the jury additional options in deciding the case.

Besides which, covering all the bases minimizes the exposure of the loser's lawyer to malpractice claims.

I see this as the best defense being a good offense. The fuckers sued him, so fight fire with fire and sue the bastards right back.

Maybe they'll both just knock it off and agree to settle up and drop both cases. That's my hunch.

That object was never everybodys..... Anybody else would have gone somewhere else all nite long and still do.

That object was a target for those that dare, he did. It has nothing to do with any of your objects the ones that are still safe. Its not about respect for your safe objects. Stop whining like a belly faller about respect.

That’s a great attitude. What he attempted to do showed a complete lack of respect for other people and their property. It was just plane self promotion and ego feed.

Other people's objects, every object out there belongs to somebody that never intended it to be jumped. All of the granite in Yosemite is owned by this middle aged jewish guy and he does not want his granite jumped anymore. Whats your point?

Similar NYNY objects have anti-jumper hardware. Now thats a serious owner-Nigel tufnel voice off.

That object was just high profile, mandatory dayblazing required, must have plan.

Jumpers are not a problem, Taggers are a problem. Their mark is weak I don't relate. Anybody want to host a first jump course to taggers. teach them not to defile the object, respect the object.
