I'm offended that guns are being discussed in the Bonfire forum. I thought that all such gun discussions had to be in Speaker's Corner. We don't want to hear about those darned pesky guns here.
But let me see if I've got the facts straight.
1) A man owned guns and didn't commit any crime with those guns, like robbery or assault.
2) He did the right thing by reporting the guns stolen.
3) As a result of him doing the right thing, the police recovered the stolen guns so that no real crimes can be committed with them.
4) But now the police are arresting the man who didn't commit any crime with the guns, and who did the right thing by reporting them missing, because of some technical violation.
Liberals want people to report stolen guns to the police. But then when they do it, they get arrested for it.
Yeah, that's a good gun law. It's really going to encourage more reporting of stolen guns.
And people wonder why gun owners don't want to register their guns.

I happen to think traveling at 80kph onm my bike is safe as houses, but the posted limits when i ride to work are lower, I break that law constantly, when i get caught I pay up and shut up.
if you dont like the law start a letter of petition or run for office or vote someone in to change it.

They don't know if that's true or not yet. They have yet to run ballistics on the guns. If any possible crime(s) committed with the gun(s) did not involve actually firing the gun(s). We still might not know either way. An armed robbery & many other crimes can be committed with a weapon, without using the weapon, in any manner other than to instill fear through intimidation. Still doesn't make it legal or ok.

No my definition takes account of PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY, you break the law and get caught you pay the fare it is really that simple. if you are not willing to suffer the consequences don't break the law.
