NlghtJumper 0 #1 January 2, 2006 I am looking to get one when I get back to the states... just curious what you guys feel is the best of them. I have heard of ones that have such shot-ie production that the visor is glued down, or it opens during free-fall. In an effort to avoid such, I am asking for your opinion! I'd suggest spending the $ on something else I think it's much better, as a student, to be able to see and hear as much as possible. For example, a full face helmet will restrict what you can hear in the plane, on exit and under canopy. Compared to an open face helmet a full face helmet will restrict your vision to some degree, think malfunctions or avoiding others under canopy. Unless it's really really freakin' cold where you jump, I'd stick with an open face helmet and clear goggles for the time being. My DZ you need 100 jumps to wear a full face. The reasons have been discussed on other threads.
