I've gone to the movies by myself plenty of times and they don't make you wear any incriminating badges to identify you or anything. Besides, with THIS particular movie, they would probably look at you and think, "Her boyfriend won't see this with her, either!" It might be good for your self esteem to decide that you don't care what anyone else thinks and go see a movie by yourself. (And think of it as a big "F you!" to your ex. ) I prefer to do things with others too, but if I want to do something and have no one who wants to go with me, then I don't let that stop me (if it's something that I can do on my own). I find that it's a different experience to do something alone, but usually not less enjoyable. And it doesn't mean that you can't still be sociable. It might be good for your self esteem to decide that you don't care what anyone else thinks and go see a movie by yourself. (And think of it as a big "F you!" to your ex. ) I prefer to do things with others too, but if I want to do something and have no one who wants to go with me, then I don't let that stop me (if it's something that I can do on my own).
