Question about a stray cat

Recommended Posts

Just called my vet, she recommended the following place:

http://www.rmaca.org/

She thinks they come out and pick the cats up, and even have spay/neuter capabilities right in their van. The vet seems to think they'll all, including the mom, likely be adoptable.

So, hopefully, things will work out, and the dropzones of Colorado will be safe from the threat of this particular little cat and her minions.:S

Now, did we want to discuss what Obama would recommend so that we can make sure to get this thrown over to SC?:D:D

I'd be interested in hearing how this works out- if they come and do everything your vet thinks they will. I don't think they've got an organization like that near me or my drop zone:D. The last stray I took home (you know, just to get him healthy enough to find a good home .......;)) is still with me 2 years later. Once you take them in and take care of them for a few days, they are hard to let go of.

Well, I didn't hear back from the Alley Cat rescue organization until this afternoon. They will pick up mamma and kittens, provided they have a foster home available to take them all.

But, it's all a moot point. Mama and kittens disappeared in the night. I'm hoping they didn't meet an untimely demise; I certainly didn't hear any commotion but the bushes are not directly underneath any of my windows.

IF she turns up, I'm going to ask about the possiblity of fostering her and the kittens.

I don't blame the cats for their irresponsible owners.

But I do blame the cats when their piss winds up on people's gear. >:(

Maybe it's time for a quick game of "Cat Passing Under Canopy"

C-PUC is a really fun game, much like ball passing, but with teeth and claws. A little duct tape comes in really handy.
