The runner wasn't at the top of the stadium...okay...I don't know why that would have to be "faked"...just build a ramp along the top that descends in to the stadium...right? Anyway, I'm asking about the fireworks, because I didn't see it, I don't know how big a "CGI" job was done.So I try and I scream and I beg and I sigh Just to prove I'm alive, and it's alright 'Cause tonight there's a way I'll make light of my treacherous life Make light! bigway 4 #3 August 11, 2008 btw- the guy made to look like running around the stadium was lifted from the centre of the stadium by wire and swung around the top rim of the stadium. It was in no way meant for anyone to believe he was actually running around in assisted as he woild have had to be able to defy gravity running horizontal to the ground. .Karnage Krew Gear Store . bigway 4 #4 August 11, 2008 from further reading it seems the only fireworks faked were the footprints leading across the city to re stadium as part of re show. This was not so much of the fireworks display but more a segment of meaning incorporated into the show. So if that was faked then fair enough but the actual firework displays were live. Now people are acussing NBC of reordering the order the teams entered the stadium so people waited the entire show for the USA team....
