Catch of a lifetime

Recommended Posts

My cousin in Mobile was on a charter boat during the fishing tournament earlier this year off the Gulf Coast. He related the story to me recently and showed me the video clip. Pretty cool stuff. He's the CEO of his own company and rents this boat often for rides for his clients and partners. He's not the one who hooked the fish though but he and his wife helped get it into the boat, all 700 lbs of bluefin tuna! :o The fish was worth $100,000 on the market. A hell of a lot of sushi, if I may add.

My cousin is the tall shirtless guy with the visor cap, and his wife is the busty one in the black and white striped shirt.

that is truly something. I am somewhat of a big fisherman. I only wish that i could ever catch a fish that big. Its too bad i get serious sea sickness. Here is the biggest fish i caught. It was a 45 pound king in alaska. I casted at this fish two times after my brother casted at him for about a hour. :P

im 6'1'' 185 for scale

helluva fish!!

5 hr battle though... :S

one spearshaft through the head or spine and he would of been out like a light. the downside to not getting the kill shot on a fish like that is you will be hanging on a buoy for about an hour while he fights/bleeds himself out on the bugee.

if you want a friend feed any animal

Cheeky bastard. :D

Well suffice it to say, she's the one he was cheating on his first wife with... And his first wife was better looking. :S

Edited to add: the first wife was a helluva catch too. She used to work for Ted Turner at CNN. He paid for their exorbitant wedding in Atlanta, believe it or not. I was there.
