OMG, do NOT see this unless you want to watch a train wreck.

I was expecting it to be "not good," but I wasn't expecting it to be "horrible."

The Star Wars saga is not known for scintillating dialog, but it does have its own "timeless" style. This, however, breaks the pattern and replaces it with juvenile, Saturday morning "tween-speak." Speaking of which, whoever decided to add a new female "tween" character to merchandise to the girl crowd here really needs to be taken out back behind the wood shed and given a beating. It's not that the character is female, I'd have no problem with that. It's that the character isn't attractive in any way, shape or form. The character design from art to attitude is really hideous.

Animation is sub-par.

Grrr . . . .

Of course, Lucas Arts has a Saturday morning cartoon coming out this fall and Clone Wars is just setting it up. I was not going to go waste my time or money on it once I saw the first preview and figured out they were going for that crowd.

That's EXACTLY what I thought while watching it. (I didn't pay for it... well, except with my time )

I have to agree though. It was amusingly unentertaining. (meaning it was so bad, that it became amusing to see how bad it would get)

Junior is aching to go see it and guess who gets to sit thru the show. At least he lets me sit in the back when he's up in the front row. I hope he can find me to wake me up when it's done.
