His dog is barking, so he knows it's healthy, so there is nothing for him to worry about. If you think one dog is bad, you should have heard the coyote chorus I had two days ago in the green belt behind my house."There are only three things of value: younger women, faster airplanes, and bigger crocodiles" - Arthur Jones. ltdiver 3 #4 August 16, 2008 I had a friend who had a samoyed dog. Their neighbor complained that the dog wouldn't shut up. Somehow they came to a compromise. My friend took the dog to the vet and had it 'debarked'. In essence, had the voice box removed. It was sure sad to hear the dog try to bark after that. Kind of came out like a hoarse 'huff'. :^( ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
squirrel 0 #5 August 16, 2008 yeah, i have dealt with that everywhere. we now live in the high desert, east of LA, CA., where it seems to be mandatory to have 3 to 4 dogs, and leave them in a backyard of dirt to back all night. we use a sound machine to block it out. we have two boxers, they sleep inside with us, never a peep...well, unless the neighbors cat is dumb enough to come around. ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him? My sis came down for a visit and couldn't put up with the constant noise, she spoke with the neighbors twice...then on the 3rd night called the police...no problems since! ~ If you choke a Smurf, what color does it turn? ~

My neighbours have 3 dogs that bark ALL DAY LONG (and all night long if they're left out). We've (some other neighbours and I) have spoken to them a few times about it and said we'd call bylaw if they didn't take them in at night. At least they take them in at night now. Still have to put up with the barking during the day.'Shell
