porpoishead 8 #33 August 19, 2008 a friend of mine telmo did the kite boarding thing for a while. they do have a release system, on his anyway. not sure if it's standard equipment. even with this operational release system, he managed to get himself skulldrug really fucking hard multiple times. he was always reluctant to release from his kite because it was a $1300 kite. he always thought that he was better than he actually was and could maneuver himself safely out of any situation. the last time he was dragged and repeatedly slammed across a highway and ended up smashed into some powerlines before he released the kite. despite not getting hit by a car, not electrocuted, alot of roadrash, and multiple broken bones he was lucky to be alive. he's retired from kiting sold his busted up kite for $400ish dollars if you want a friend feed any animal Perry Farrell Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

You could even do a dual system where one action allows the kite to collaps and another releases completely.
