Chizazz 0 #1 August 25, 2008 I just got my MEI and I'll be getting my CFII and CFI this week. Does anybody out there know of any flight schools currently hiring instructors? Or pipeline patrol, aerial surveying, etc?
quade 4 #2 August 25, 2008 Anything other than CFI work is probably going to require time in type for insurance purposes and pipeline / survey is pretty tough to break into. Trying to land that first gig is pretty tough. Probably your best bet is wherever you got your training and even then . . . Good luck to you.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver
NickDG 23 #3 August 25, 2008 Here's an good pro pilot forum, if you haven't seen it. And a interesting thread that sort of follows along with your query . . . bfilarsky 0 #4 August 26, 2008 Theres plenty of CFI jobs around. The only problem is most don't pay squat.

Chizazz 0 #7 August 26, 2008 Wellll....I'm from Ohio. I haven't been there in awhile though. After college I traveled around the country with the MetLife blimp for a year and a half. I've been in Virginia since March. I have another week or so here finishing up 2 more checkrides. Then I'm down to go anywhereeeee. :-D
