a true Pine Tree....
and an interesting Conifer, in that each fall the needles turn light brown, and fall off.... leaving the tree looking like it was dead...

The next spring However,,, New growth, light green and soft soft soft needles,,, re-emerge
to create a dignified Pine tree...
it seems to put out small acorn sized pinecones
each season...
I planted a number of seedlings of this type of tree, about 20 years ago and now have specimens which are taller than 20 feet, and which started out as a "twig" and now have a trunk which is nearly a foot in diameter.

Also called a Tamarack Pine...
