wow, I replied to an apartment ad on craigslist, and boy does it sound like those Nigeria scams have hit a new low! Following, is the returned email I recieved from the person.

It will be a great privilege to rent you my beautiful and lovely apartment located at a nice area in Los Alamitos.My apartment is a well furnished apartment flat.It was rented out to a female tenant whose contract was terminated last month and immediately the move out Date she packed out. I was in Los Alamitos,last Month to sign the necessary documents for the contract to be terminated and my apartment was left in a good conditions as i rented it to her. Her deposit payment was refunded to her in cash when everything was checked thoroughly and left in good condition.. It will be a great opportunity to rent you such a nice apartment if only you are ready and capable of renting my apartment... Due to the nature of the equipments in my apartment and the furnitures, I will really need someone reliable,responsible, tidy and trustworthy who will take very good care of my apartment as am away.
