birdlike 0 #1 August 31, 2008 Man, if there is one thing YouTube is good for, it's making me sentimental. You get to see so very many things that you remember from "former lives"... This one is Time Stand Still, by Rush. I would not be surprised to find I am far from the only skydiver who loves this song. Enjoy! (P.S. This is your chance to post concert memories about Rush shows you've been to! Spirits fly on dangerous missions Imaginations on fire

Gawain 0 #9 August 31, 2008 Quote Anything from "Permanent Waves" - an classic album Very nice. I'm a fan of 2112, Signals, Roll the Bones, bits of Fly by Night...Actually, there is very little Rush that I don't like. I have pretty much all their albums, saw them in concert at the Ice Palace in Tampa years ago. Though, somehow I don't consider myself to be part of that "cult following"...but I clearly know why they have one. So I try and I scream and I beg and I sigh Just to prove I'm alive, and it's alright 'Cause tonight there's a way I'll make light of my treacherous life Make light! birdlike 0 #10 August 31, 2008 They started to lose something with Test for Echo, and then with the subsequent albums. I never spent enough effort to try to figure out exactly what it was, but something (spirit?) is gone from their music lately.
