The "movie voice guy" aka Don LaFontaine died.

Love him or hate him, he had a cool voice and a solid gig doing voice overs. He defined an entire industry, doing the voice overs on movie trailers and previews.

I reakon now his job is up for grabs they should spend the next generation having a woman do the job. Would be something different thats for sure. I dont think i have ever heard a woman do a voice over for any movie.

I mean, there's no shortage of people who (like Pablo Francisco, whose parody of him is hilarious) who can sound like him, but no one will be him.

My sympathy to his family and friends. He'll be missed, and he gave a lot, and we appreciate it.
