Andy_Copland 0 #1 September 2, 2008 Cop just came to my door asking if i was a Mr something i cant remember. Then i said no and he asked who owned the car outside (my car) and said it was registered to him. Then when i said "ummm no its not" he said "sorry i looked at the wrong screen" and went away. 1338 People aint made of nothin' but water and shit. Until morale improves, the beatings will continue. guppie01 0 #4 September 2, 2008 I had some bounty hunters show up at my door one night... I was home alone, the doorbell rang, I answered. The man asked if Mr. So-and-so lived there, I said no. He then asked if we owned or rented the home. I said we owned. He asked how long. I noted approx. 5 years. He asked again if Mr. So-and-so lived there. I repeated no, and that I've never heard of him. He thanked me for my time and then left. When I turned (after closing the door), there was another man in my back yard. SCARED the crap out of me. I called the police, they came by and noted that it was bounty hunters. NOT COOL!!! g"Let's do something romantic this Saturday... how bout we bust out the restraints?" quade 4 #7 September 3, 2008 I've had cops come to my door at 3 am with the "cop knock" because they've mistaken the "North" street address with the one 28 block farther "South." I don't know what the hell goes on in the "South" universe, but I always find it slightly disturbing to be woken this way.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver

I used to work in this field, and I was the one being awakened in the middle of the night to sign the warrants before they came looking for your (not you specifically, but your generally) ass. I used to get pissed off when they couldn't find someone after I was awakened at 3am because the cops were sure the defendant was at the baby momma's or mother's house and they came up emptyhanded. And BTW, I can smell a pig from a mile away! (Cops, please don't get offended. That was a Kid Rock quote!)Always be kinder than you feel.

Run mousey run! I didn't see the attached picture until this post. My bet is state parole or probation. Or someone from the county prosecutor's office like an investigator. Did you run your address thorugh Google to try to see who used to live there (or at least be associated with your addess)? Once you get a few names then you can go to your State's corrections (and Megan's Law) website to see if you can come up with a hit. You may be able to get the information from those souces........... Good luck. If you need help, shoot me a PM, I'm pretty good at this stuff. Always be kinder than you feel.
