Dude, we need updates! I don't know why, but I'm constantly rechecking this thread to see if anything new has been posted.

Mostly, I think it has to do with that being the weirdest damn piece of fruit I've ever seen in my life! Did you get the nerve to eat any of it yet?

Well, there are a couple other weird things out there that I haven't plucked...

And no, I'm too chicken-shit to eat or taste what I don't recognize.

Also, we have several Persimmon trees on our property. Very dense little fruits that weigh down the branches almost near the breaking point. They taste a little bitter, but can be made into a jam.

Looks like a paw-paw , but the shape seems too regular, might just be immature. Did it smell like a banana?

look at the pic where he cut it open. That's not a pawpaw. and the leaves don't look like a pawpaw tree either.
