BillyVance 35 #1 September 6, 2008 Driving west on I-20 from my town's exit to the next one to do some errands yesterday about 2:45 pm, and a mile from the exit, I see my good friend's car up ahead. As I pulled even, I glanced over for a second, yep, looks like him. I pulled ahead. He moves over to the right lane, I move over there ahead of him. He's my fellow deaf skydiver buddy that lives 10 miles from me. I figured he had a short work-day. I rolled my window down, and finger-spelled "HEY ASSHOLE!" out the window so he would see it. No reaction... hmmm.... I give him a big wave inside my truck. No reaction... huh... I know he would know it's my truck since my license plate is crumpled in the middle when I struck something years ago. I pull off the interstate on the 270 degree ramp. He does the same. I figure he's on his way home, which is where I'm on my way as well, but to the doctor's office that he passes by. When I made the turn that way, he didn't. Hmmm.... So I texted him. "Was that you on I-20 at 2:45 coming into town? I just signed 'hey asshole' to you." He responds "No, I'm still at work. There are a few other cars exact same brand, make and color as mine. You funny, haha" Oh damn.... I wonder what would have happened if I'd stuck my arm out and given that unknown dude the birdie finger that I had in mind to begin with?
