raskolnikovrod 0 #1 September 8, 2008 Fellow skrydivers, I need your expert opinions on something: Is it possible for the average Cesna 206 loaded with 3-5 sport/tandem jumpers to take off with a steel tow bar still attached to its nose gear? Assuming that it IS possible, is it possible for the same plane, still with the same steel tow bar attached to the nose gear, to complete jump run dump its load and return and land? Again, assuming all of the above, what sort of damage would you expect to see once the pilot completes his/her taxi back to the hanger and kills the engine? Has anyone ever heard of this happening? If you were the pilot in this story, would you: a) have a beer b) smoke a cigarette c) make a jump d) other __________
futuredivot 0 #2 September 8, 2008 I can't think of many common soingle engine planes that I've seen that haven't taken off with a tow bar attached-Usually they're found not too far down the runway. You are only as strong as the prey you devour
