birdlike 0 #1 September 9, 2008 I used to collect and read Marvel Comics, and never got into DC, or others. (I particularly did not like DC comics for a variety of reasons.) Anyway, now there are trailers out for "Watchmen," which has roots in DC comics. The graphic novel, made from a series of 12 comics, is considered groundbreaking and defined the genre of graphic novels. (Read about it here This is where I learned pretty much all I know about it, too.) I saw the trailers and shortly after that I bought the graphic novel at a local comic shop. I haven't read the entire thing, but skimmed the first 30 pages or so. (I was in the middle of a novel when I got it.) I'll probably read it when I go away next week. It'll be a good time-passer on my flight to NY. So, are you interested in this comic or movie? If you are an old reader of the comic, what did you think of it? And what do you think of the potential for it to be a decent movie? Are you looking forward to it?Spirits fly on dangerous missions Imaginations on fire
