mamajumps 0 #1 September 8, 2008 Neither the NFL nor The Patriots have confirmed it yet, but it is rumored that Brady is out for 2008 due to a torn MCL on his left knee. tilley13k 0 #2 September 8, 2008 Has not been confirmed by the Patriots, but there have been numerous reports that he is out for the season. He's getting an MRI today and we'll probably know after that if he's done for the year or not. I also heard the Patriots are flying in QB's to fill in the position. Names being tossed were Chris Sims and Daunte Culpepper. Really unfortunate for last years MVP.

blacklabjumper 0 #11 September 8, 2008 I have a very good froend that works in the ptariots front office. He told me they alreday know Brady is out for the season and they are bringing in 2 QB's today for a tryout. Chris Sims and possibly Tim Rattay but not sure about him. For all you Jets fans get a grip. Favre will do more to hurt you than help you in the long run. Please refer to last year's NFC championship game for proof. Also, don't forget that Brady came in to play after Drew Bledsoe got hurt in the second game of the season. I am not saying that cassel is another Brady but before Bledsoe got hurt not too many people had even heard of Tom Brady. Don't count the Patriots out just yet but I can't deny with Brady out things do not look good.Rodriguez Brother #1626 Dudiest Skydiver #1962 DPH #-

You brought up a valid point about Brady, and Cassel did make some impressive plays. Fingers crossed for my team!!!!!

tigra 0 #15 September 8, 2008 I'm still in shock over last night's Bears game. Yeah, I know Indi kind of self destructed but its been a really long time since I've seen the Bears play that well for an entire game- offense and defense.

mamajumps 0 #22 September 8, 2008 Football is just one of those sports for me... There were over 30 people at my boyfriends house yesterday to celebrate the kick-off off football season. It is something that I am sad to see end, and very excited to see start again in Sept. We all have those little things that make us who we are and being a football nut is one of those things for me. Seeing Brady out for the season is a big deal for me, he is the golden boy for the Patriots, and his injury is going to have a big effect on how well the Pats do this year.
