bodypilot90 0 #1 September 12, 2008 at work we use a work order, i made it to a word doc but the lines move around when filling in the work order. See attached Anything I can do? thanks
AggieDave 6 #2 September 12, 2008 You'd be better off creating a form with fill in the blank macros. There's a wizard to help you do it. Then you can make check boxes or limit input to number only, etc. That's really the way to go. Then you can also make it read only and keep people from screwing up the original document.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." mamajumps 0 #3 September 12, 2008 Can you create in Excel? That will allow you to type in the fields w/o things shifting...
Squeak 17 #4 September 12, 2008 the best way to do it would be to use Acrobat, and make an online form. which can then be printed complete. Failing that as Dave said a macro would be the next way i would do it.You are not now, nor will you ever be, good enough to not die in this sport (Sparky) My Life ROCKS! How's yours doing? Andy9o8 2 #6 September 12, 2008 Yeah. Switch to WordPerfect. The only reason so many people use MS Word, a mediocre product at best, is because Bill Gates has stuck it up everyone's ass. OK, that wasn't too helpful, but I got the rant in. Excel or Adobe Acrobat are probably the ways I'd go. Just consider whether you want the filled-in document to be fill-in only (or read-only) or savable.
