I can't find my favorite moment from Cheers, but it's something like this:

An older gentleman comes in, walks up to the bar, and starts up a conversation with Woody.

Gentleman: I used to come to this bar all the time, but then I left Boston. It's been over 20 years now and I tell you, everything is changed. These countertops are new. That wood panelling used to be wallpaper. And there was a second set of stairs leading up.

Woody: Oh yeah? Where?

Gentleman: Over there, behind Norm.

Norm : "I can't, Coach."

Coach : "Geez, I'm sorry to hear that, Norm."

Norm : "Yeah, I look at Vera and I just......can't."


NEWS RADIO -

Matthew has been complaining about Bill's smoking in the office, so Dave says he'll quit drinking coffee if Bill gives up the butts. The second day, Dave and Bill are talking in Dave's office when Matthew comes in.

Matthew : "Dave, here are some papers I need you to....."

Dave : "Oh, for God's sake, Matthew....what is it now ? Nobody's smoking, okay ?"

Matthew : "But...."

Bill : " BUT NOTHING !!"

Dave : "You know, what we need around here is an ANTI-WHINING ORDINANCE !"

Bill : "So just ZIP your SNIVELING LITTLE LIP and HAUL YOUR SKINNY ASS OUT OF HERE !!"
