I remember when my girl was being born, her head was in the correct position but hadn't crowned yet. The doctor every few minutes would reach in and touch the top of her head. Every time he did so, the baby's heart rate shot up, as if she got mad each time.

Yup... we call it "scalp stim." And we "say" it's good cuz it shows normal heart rate response to stimulation.... but what if the baby thinks it's mean!


Back on topic... the only thing on that list that I wouldn't do is the snake wrangling..... Reptiles and Sharks.... I don't mess with either, I figure both classes have won the evolutionary game and hit respective "success." I don't need to be f'n with them.
