mysky 1 #1 December 10, 2005 I posted a few months back on the topic of PD's new smaller packing reserves. Does anyone have any updates on these new reserves? I figured before I dropped PD a line I might get some info from anyone who might know something about them, info like a possible release date or if they are even coming out at all. Thanks in advance for your replies. There are 3 kinds of people in this world, those that know how to count, and those who don't.
riggerrob 643 #2 December 10, 2005 Perseverance Textile Mills bankrupted earlier this year and all the assets were sold to a French company. ... not clear on whether the machines were moved to France, but they promised to resume parachute fabric production in the near future. As for experimental fabrics - like the 1/2 weight F-111 test batch woven for PD - don't hold your breath.

katzurki 0 #4 December 11, 2005 From Rusty Vest, October 18 2005 QuoteWhere we are with the lower pack volume reserve? Nowhere at the moment. The manufacturer whose fabric we were doing research on went in to receivership and closed their doors. That fabric is therefore not available. We are going to look into other fabrics, but it is a long process and we basically have to start over.
