Omigosh! I forgot "Faulty Towers"!!!(I bought the complete set of DVD's years ago). In the late '80's I lived temporarily in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, and a local PBS station was running the Minister series. I thought it was the most brilliant political satire I'd ever seen. I haven't seen an episode since. However I have them queued up on NetFlix and they should start arriving soon.Edited to add: Damn! I also forgot "The Prisoner", (of which I also bought the set)."There are only three things of value: younger women, faster airplanes, and bigger crocodiles" - Arthur Jones. Icon134 0 #39 September 9, 2008 I have bought DVD sets of very few TV shows... One of the two series I own is: Farscape the other is: Firefly I'd have to put those pretty high on my list all time favorite shows... and like livendive mentioned if we are including miniseries I'd have to include: Band of Brothers... because that was extremely well done...Livin' on the Edge... sleeping with my rigger's wife... BillyVance 34 #45 September 9, 2008 Another one of my favorites was The Jeffersons. Looking back, I was amazed at what the producers allowed when it came to racial slurs on primetime TV. "You Honkey!" "Zebra!", etc... But oh man, the sarcasm dripped all over that show! Some of the funniest shit ever. And it was a spin-off from All In The Family too. Now that was another great show!
