Sure. Here are 35 reviews.

Why does the feedback have to be from a skydiver? ;) If I went to the Amazon electronics review page and asked how people like Aerodyne products, I'd probably get no replies either. :P

I dont ever go to Amazon, I'm in OZ and would not even think to check there.
It's only just been released here sothe only reviews i have seen are from pages where advertising revue is important, so i take those type of reviews very lightly.

But thanks for the link, as to why i asked here, well because there are quite a few people who work and play in the IT fields and the "netbooks" might be something they have an opinion on.

No worries, I hope the Amazon reviews give you the info you were looking for. ;)

Many years ago, I made the mistake of purchasing an Acer 'puter from ChumpUSA. Aside from paying too much and not being able to upgrade anything in it (shitty components that were already maxed out capability wise...) while dealing w/the power supply failing and .....

...this was a desktop and it was >10 yrs ago so perhaps their quality has risen since then. I will never knowingly buy an Acer product. YMMV.
Randomly f'n thingies up since before I was born...

I've been using a full sized Acer for that last 4 year without error one happening to it so I'm fine with it being and Acer

I also bought an Acer desktop about 15 years ago (rather, my parents did, I was only a kid). It was my first desktop and it was a piece of shit. These days, I build my own desktops and would never buy a pre-made.

But as far as laptops go I bought my girlfriend an Acer Extensa laptop that we both use and it seems great, and got good reviews too, and was a good deal.

Acer's rep has risen today with both laptops and displays (not sure about desktops since I don't pay attention to them).

Not that you asked, but I have to brag about my new toy somewhere. Last week I got a Sony Vaio FW190, built to order.

P8600, 2.4 GHz
3 Gigs of RAM
320 Gig HDD (only 5400 rpm, but the 7200 rpm Black Scorpion is on the way)
X-Bright Hi color screen (16.4" of amazingness)
Blu-Ray Read/Write
Extended battery
1080p output through HDMI
Bluetooth wireless hub
Added Photoshop, Office 07, and Vegas Pro 8 (so I can edit AND BURN hi-def B|)

Did I mention it's awesome? B| Last night I backed everything up so I can do a clean install tonight. This being my first experience with Vista, I'm a bit nervous about that. I also got some kick-ass peripherals (new monitor, speakers, BT keyboard/mouse, and a USB port replicator for ease of use as a desktop replacement). And it plugs in easily to the TV & stereo at my trailer at the DZ, so at night I can watch Blu-Ray movies in hi-def, with surround sound. B|

Blues,
Dave
