Oh my belly!

Recommended Posts

Have you ever eaten so much you really thought about throwing up just because you knew you would feel so much better afterwards? I went into Manhattan tonight and met up with my wife when she got off work. We went down to Mullberry ST. for the Italian festival. I had a big Italian sausage with peppers, a couple beers, and of course we cant be on Mullberry without going to Angelo's. Nikki had the pasta dish she always gets and I went with the filet mignon with portabella mushrooms and washed it down with a couple scotches. Then on the way out we has to get canolis. My belly hurts. Oh my belly!

What are papaya tablets? I just might double up on my Nexium dosage in the morning. I know I will be paying for it. But damn it was good and the Italian fest is only once a year so I can enjoy it.

It's an enzyme that gets rid of that bloated, horrible full feeling and heartburn in no time at all. :)

I might have to get that for future episodes. Nothing is open where I live. Great to know. Never heard of taking papaya before. I will just have to sweat this one out. Damn it tasted soooo goos while I was eating though. I bet it was that last cannoli that sent it over the edge.

Is that the San Genaro festival? Can't remember exactly when that one happens.

I used to have a favorite sausage vendor during the festival. He was the ONLY one that cooked the sausage over a flame rather than on a griddle. Thankfully he was usually fairly close to one end so I would grab one on the way in, make my way down the length of the festival, turn around and grab another on the way out. Sometimes even grabbed an extra one on the way out for the train ride.

You'll have to seek him out if you go back down there.
