Trying to eat healthy on the road? Cool site!

Recommended Posts

Just found this site ... this is pretty slick. Now that I'm back to traveling (a little bit, anyway) for work, this will come in handy. You can put in a street address and do a search for the 5 or 10 closest locations, or search within a X-mile radius to find restaurants. Once you pick a restaurant, you click on it to find the healthiest things on the menu, including instructions on how to adapt your order if necessary to keep the fat/calories down.

Seems to be a lot of chain restaurants, but there's a few local places as well.

Thanks a ton!!

Ok that was a weak one, but I've saved the site.

LOL.:P One thing I like about my new employer is that they post nutritional information for all the food in the company cafeterias. So that something you *think* would be the healthiest choice (like the chicken Caesar salad) is exposed as the stealth calorie-and-fat-laden mess that it is. Who woulda thunk that it would have 950 calories and the sweet and sour pork would only have 600?

Wow! That's pretty trick! I've saved that in my fav places. So when are you going to visit up here again. I know of a really healthy place to eat when you get back this way. Except just take a small piece of pie at the end of the meal and everything will be fine. ;)
