Boston is next, i hear the green monsters days are numbered also. Some people paid $1200 for a seat in the bleachers. So i just broke up with this woman who wasn't even my girlfriend! popsjumper 2 #5 September 22, 2008 I am very, very pissed that all these pieces of history are being destoyed. I was pissed when they re-modeled The House That Ruth Built and now "they" are going to tear it down??? Assholes. WTH? Let's re-do the pyramids of Egypt while we're at it. My reality and yours are quite different. I think we're all Bozos on this bus. Falcon5232, SCS8170, SCSA353, POPS9398, DS239

But we live in America and you are entitled to that opinion even if it is a bit off base. HA! get it "Off Base". Todays game is much different than when i played but not every player is a whining little bitch. There are some who are still good people who play for the love of the game.So i just broke up with this woman who wasn't even my girlfriend! jimmytavino 16 #15 September 23, 2008 The Yankees or the Mets.... was a real Battle Line, within our family for 40 years.... The Yankees go waaay back. the Mets...?? the young 'upstarts'.. both with great histories.. the Yankess cause they Dominated...... before Parity within the major leagues struck... ( free agency etc). I never rooted for them, But always liked Mickey, and Yogi and Whitey and Maris... Only went to Yankee Stadium Once, but am now glad i did... The "urban renewal",,, " out with the old in with the new" attitude , has run rampant. Coupled with limited real estate square footage..available in some cities... i guess the current thing is... turn a parking lot into a stadium, and then turn the stadium into a parking lot.... Same thing is happening at Shea... I saw on the news that Jeter led the team around the circumference of the stadium,, thanking fans, and glad handing everyone.. That was nice...meanwhile people , ( those same fans) , are arrested for stealing mementos... hahaha. Only in New York baby,,, only in New york. Over in Queens,,they are still clinging to the hope of getting in this years' playoffs... but this thread is about the Yankeesj
