A Story about a Barn, a Horse, a Dog and John Deere Fruit Snacks

My sister, Dana, and her husband live in beautiful Deep River, CT. She is the proud owner of an absolutely amazing French Warm-blood (Selle Francais warmblood) named Java. Dana is an accomplished equestrian and pretty much self-made in anything she pursues.

Earlier this year, she and Jeremy were married and one of their immediate goals was to build a barn on their property so Java wouldn't have to board. Java was used to environments like the Fairfield County Hunt Club etc., so Dana wanted something special. Nothing but the best.

Dana started a blog about the building of the barn, and it has turned into a great story about their dog, Mackie, John Deere related products (of which they are huge fans by the way) and...oh yeah, the horse.

I thought some here might get a kick out of it, as it's told in a fashion that only my sister could do (straight forward and unapologetic).
