I’m moving in with my g/f!!!!
I know, I must be nuts (or is it just because I’m horny???)

We have found the PERFECT apartment to rent.
The house is built early 1900-ish with huge windows and ceiling heights at about 3,5 meters (11.5 ft) 4 rooms at 165 square meters (1776 sqf) in total.
There is 2 (non working) but beautiful tile stoves and one (working) fire place.

And it’s cheap too, about $1000 a month including water and heating.

That's what I was thinking! In my part of Texas $1000 a month can buy you a decent house if you have decent credit. Another $200 a month and you get a good house that was built in the last 15 years in a good neighborhood.

Up here that's an oxymoron (IMO). Maybe codes and standards down there are different, but around here anything built in the last 15 years is made mostly of waferboard (OSB) and vinyl.

New construction around here uses very little actual wood. It's all wood "product" which means if it gets wet, it falls apart. I know, it's not supposed to get wet, but you know how that goes.

Fake wood, fake brick (over fake wood no less), fake logs, fake divided lights; very bizarre.

That's not too bad, kind of in line with what we're paying. My folks' house in SLC, Utah is bigger, better, and in a premium neighborhood, property taxes are less.

OTOH, they have state income tax.

Been there done that, got the T-shirt and burned it
We both have the same opinion regarding buying a house and we just HATE gardening and stuff like that....
We prefer to just call the landlord if something breaks

And moving in together with some one is a big enough leap for me after living "chaotic" single life for 8 years...
