hungarianchick 0 #26 September 3, 2008 We don't have a dog yet, but when we do I'll make sure that he will be well mannered and obedient. He/she will not be allowed on the furniture and will have to accept their position at the bottom of the family pecking order. As for our cat, well, I tried but I think she is hell-bent on driving me crazy at the moment. I think she wants my husband all to herself. "I love cooking with wine. Sometimes I even put it in the food."
PLFXpert 0 #27 September 3, 2008 Quote Turn them upside down and put them on the couch when you leave. The dog won't want to lay on them. You are . It's fine because Sabre has already scratched a hole in the side of couch despite a beautiful cedar & sisal scratching post located two feet away. But, I digress... I thank God, though, the couch is the only evidence we have animals. I keep a clean, tight ship. And thankfully Sabre doesn't scratch on anything else. Cruzer has a plethora of chew toys and merely devours a pair of socks once in a while. And none of them sleep on anything else...except the alternative-down comforter on the bed. Yea, and in my closet. Sabre likes to lay on my clothes I've recently worn, folded and placed on top of the dresser in my closet. But other than that... Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
