>:( Frickin' expensive!

But...this may be my last chance to see them seeing as they aren't getting any younger :P

Should I cough up 400 for two tickets and just go see them? [:/]

That is a lot of coughing you will have to do. :P

$200 per ticket for a 40 year old rock band ...i would not pay it

You obviously have no taste in music...and you being from Australia? That makes your statement that much more shocking... :P:D:ph34r:

I didnt say i dont like accadacca i said i would not pay $400 to see a 40 year old rock band.

It was bad enough when i paid $100 to see Eric Clapton...

i got mine for about $100 (after fees and exchange rate) for the 8th row in boston. B| it'll end up costing $600 or so by the time i get there and back (with the missus) though. still worth it to me!

I'd pay it . . .

But if money is an issue you may want to save your duckets for this one!

Led Zep were looking for a replacement vocalist (like that was possible) but it looks as if Robert Plant is on board!

Now they only need a replacement drummer for John Bonham who died in 1980. John's son handled the kit in London but no announcement has been made that I've seen. But it sounds like there's several "big names" who'd do anything for the chance to tour with Zep.

So it sounds like an full-blown American Tour is possible for 2009!

I paid $7.75 when I saw them in San Diego in 1975. I'd gladly pay a grand now . . .

No I wouldn't pay that much. I saw them in 1995, I think, and paid less than $40 for each seat. What the fuck happened in the last 13 years??? :S

Just buy their CD....

I'm a huge AC/DC fan but that's alot of dough for a concert ticket.:S I seen them as a warmup band for Aerosmith back in 1977 and payed $8.00 for the ticket. Holy cow, The Rolling Stones came through here a couple yrs ago and tickets were only $100. Same with Elton John only 2 months ago.

I may be getting old but I got to see all the cool bands.

Come on dude, do the skydiver math.

Cost of 2 tix / price of jump tix = A

(Chance of getting laid after concert *100 - Years AC/DC has been together) = B

Go with the higher number!

Ex: 400 / 21 = 19

35% chance - 40 years = -5

Go jump....it's always fun!
35% - 100

what happened was nobody buys the music any more. some bands seem to have accepted that they give the music away and sell the show. works for me!

sucks to be a new band, but the old cats are making a fortune!
