The computer acts like it just came out of the box, it tells me to check the event log. Where do I find that? Anyone have time to help me figure this out? I exclusively utilize PCTools software to protect my PC, I look closely at every prompt and regularly scan/clean my registry, defrag and maximize. If I visit a site for the first time, I will run a full scan to see if I picked up any nasties. While MS does have a bad rep... Many forget to check for Updates/Patches. And I think much is brought on by the users habits online, by their not understanding how to setup antivirus/etc software and not performing regular scans/maintenance. Just like skydiving, check your gear before and after... How many people don't inspect their PC, bridle, main, lines & risers as they repack. They go with a simple harness & pincheck jump after jump.
