mnealtx 0 #1 October 14, 2008 ... it's vacation time again, and I need some local info. I'll be flying into Gatwick the evening of the 24th and taking the shuttle over to Heathrow. The travel agent booked me into the Ariel Holiday Inn, whose map page says is .5 miles from Heathrow. The question - *IS* the hotel actually within walking distance toting a backpack and small carry-on bag, or should I waste the 5 quid for the shuttle bus?Mike I love you, Shannon and Jim.
