Well then...I guess you'd be going with Swisscom then yes? Or, maybe Orange? Before you commit to the iPhone, look into Nokia's N95 or N96 (Swisscom). If you aren't afraid of Windows Mobile, look into HTC's Touch Diamond (Orange). Then there's the LG Viewty (Orange)... I've not heard anything bad about the 3G iPhone in Europe, it's a mixed bag here in the states because AT&T is discovering their HSPDA/3G isn't up to snuff. Part of the reason the BlackBerry Bold has been delayed half a year so far... www.phonearena.com is a handy tool also.... Enjoy your choices! To me, Nokia is an acquired taste, and I'm a Verizon customer, and Nokia doesn't have much of a CDMA line-up (I actually wonder why they bother). From what I've read about the N96 (16GB mem, 5MP camera, etc) it's impressive feature set, but still seems to be an acquired taste...YMMV (ie the Symbian OS, key-pad, browser, etc). Quote for what i know, they only sell blackberries with ridiciolous expensive business-contracts. not what i need really.. Swisscom apparently has the Blackberry 9000 Bold, and if I read their web-site correctly, the plans add a 20-30CHF...who knows. Find a store and play with them all if you can and find out how much that stuff really costs. If you're seriously considering an iPhone, and you truly want to "shop around", consider these devices: -BlackBerry 9000 Bold (new) -BlackBerry 8310 Curve (established) -BlackBerry 8110 Pearl (not my fav) -LG Viewty -HTC Touch Diamond (cool TouchFlo interface) -HTC Touch Pro (like the diamond but also has a QWERTY, be ready to shell out some cash) -Samsung SGH-F480 -Nokia N95/N96 -Nokia E51 All those I'm pretty sure you can find on Swisscom. Some of those devices may have WiFi and be open enough you can use VoIP too.So I try and I scream and I beg and I sigh Just to prove I'm alive, and it's alright 'Cause tonight there's a way I'll make light of my treacherous life Make light!
