BillyVance 35 #2 October 17, 2008 None of them. Hockey sucks. Hey, I'm in the deep south where college football is king so cut me some slack. But hey, the town I grew up in had the southern-most college hockey team in the nation, and it was a pretty good program. They had no problem recruiting good players from up north to come to sunny warm Alabama and play hockey. Div I hockey for a while. They're Div II now. grimmie 186 #3 October 17, 2008 Pens, since I was a kid. I used to watch the Cleveland Barons at the Coliseum before they went bellyup. I have brought this up before. We need a hockey boogie. There is a rink 40 minutes south of Perris. We jump all day and play a game of 'pick up' at night, followed by a viewing of "Slapshot'!

DFWAJG 4 #6 October 17, 2008 I've always loved the Flyers. When I was 4, my mom dated a guy that was a huge Flyers fan. He had an orange Flyers jersey. Teddy was the one boyfriend of my mom's that I always liked. So, the Flyers always have a place in my heart.

gravitysurfer 0 #11 October 17, 2008 Been a RED WINGS fan for 28 seasons now. Favorites to date would include the Kocur/Probert (Bruise Brothers) era. Gotta love Detroit. Standing room only at Joe Louis Arena even during losing seasons. We just ate at Cheli's Chili last night. Too bad about the game though. They've gotten the White House visit and Cup hoopla out of the way. Now they need to settle down to some kind of normalcy. aloha.

simplyputsi 0 #14 October 17, 2008 Thrashers. They are not doing so well so far. I believe though, for now. Been getting the hookups on tickets so far, which has been nice. Tis not something I see myself being able to spend money on this season. At least for right now. Go Thrashers!!!!Skymama's #2 stalker -

CanuckInUSA 0 #19 October 17, 2008 I grew up in an English part of suburban Montreal at a time (the 1970s) when winning the Stanley Cup was a ritual during the spring ('71, '73, '76, '77, '78, '79). So naturally my #1 team is the Habs (Montreal Canadiens). I also cheer for the Colorado Avalanche. I was an Avs season ticket holder from 2000-2004 and I was in the Pepsi Can during game #7 in 2001 when Burnaby Joe Sakic hoisted Lord Stanley after a great series against the Devils. So ... #1 Team - Montreal Canadians close 2nd - Colorado Avalanche screw everyone else ... especially the Flames (what can I say I am back living in Cowtown). Try not to worry about the things you have no control over

dynamicedge 0 #21 October 17, 2008 Everyone should tune in to the Oilers game tonight cuz they're playing the Flamers.(and again tommorrow night!) It's gonna be a super exciting game as always but it will only end in the Flames' demise. GO OILERS!!!! If only the season could end now we'd be in the playoffs for sure.
