Tonight's Dinner Menu

Recommended Posts

Burgers 1/3lb. made of Murray Gray angus dry aged 21 days before cutting.

Home made Pimento cheese made stuffed inside the burgers made with Neufchatel and sharp white cheddar blended with pimento and fire roasted red pepper from my garden.

The Peppers are still doing well even at these temperatures!

Sourdough rolls for the burgers.

Salad with a raspberry vinaigrette with balsamic and home made croutons.

Maura, do you want me to save you some cayenne's (dry or fresh)and some vinegar pepperoncini?

When are you going to haul his apeness to my house for dinner?

Elgin Illinois, but you would always be welcome in our home.:)
I would love to have you come for dinner when I make gnocchi, meatballs and some oxtails, maybe bracchiole too!B|

Did you guys always have the hard boiled eggs in the sauce when you were a kid?(throwback to the depression days)

I thought you were @ Ft. Dix! :D
And Italian food - yum!!! I've never heard of the hard boiled egg thing! And I never want to have any surprises in my sauce (or GRAVY) like that!! ;)
Always be kinder than you feel.

In all fairness, Maura is a very good cook!

Oh sure, suck up NOW, after you've dissed my birthplace and current home........ :P

As far as his APENESS ............... Weeknights don't work for either one of us just because of work schedules but pretty soon we're quickly running out of weekend DZ weather so we should be able to manage something soon.

Sounds damned good.

You going to use bacon grease with the pan drippings?

You poor bastardo.

Next time you get to SDC let me know, we will cookout a marinated hind quarter of Venison and get a keg of Tetley's or Newcastle.

Why thank you very much. I was kicking around the idea of making a trip to SDC sometime this winter. And yes dumping nearly all of my paycheck on a parachute has made me just a bit tight on cash lately.

Lunch was salmon patties... :)
Dinner.... dunno. Marty, who usually does the cooking, won't be back until almost 10pm. So I might have to stalk, kill and prepare my own dinner again. (those brocilini can be wiley creatures) :)

Cruciferous vegetables are good for you. Eat your veggies!:)
