popsjumper 2 #4 October 26, 2008 My Floyd teeth were cut on The Piper at the Gates of Dawn. Interstellar Overdrive is what caught my fancy. And just for fun, I liked Bike: I've got a bike, you can ride it if you like. It's got a basket, a bell that rings And things to make it look good. I'd give it to you if I could, but I borrowed it. Meddle is, and always has been, my favorite album. My reality and yours are quite different. I think we're all Bozos on this bus. slotperfect 7 #6 October 26, 2008 I own both of those DVDs and watch them all the time. I am also looking forward to getting the new one - "Live from Gdansk" with the Polish Baltic Philharmonic Orchestra . . . I saw most of it last week on VH1 Classic. It's excellent - better than his last two DVDs IMO. In the new one David Gilmour plays some more familiar instruments than his more recent solo DVDs . . . the famous "black strat" and the red one with the white pick guard as well. On the black strat you will notice a wide leather guitar strap that has lighter colored leather X's weaved into it. His wife bought that at a Sotheby's auction and gave it to him for his 60th birthday . . . it used to belong to Jimi Hendrix. airdvr 210 #7 October 26, 2008 Quote Meddle is, and always has been, my favorite album. Agreed. I love how they can go from tearing it up on One of These Days to having fun with San Tropez. I was intro'd to Floyd by my sister who is 5 years older than me. All it took was a fatty and some headphones Those were the days...Please don't dent the planet.
