Util for shrinking Pictures??

Anyone know of a good utility (preferably Free) for shrinking a large number of pictures at the same time?

Someone gave me CD with about 100 Pics on it and reducing them to a manageable size one at a time would take forever.

I do something like

mkdir ~/small
for file in *; do
jpegtopnm < $file | pnmscale --reduce 4 | pnmtojpeg > ~/small/$file
done

for quarter size photos.

all it takes is the unix of your choice with netpbm installed. You might be able to get the netpbm package for cygwin which runs under windows.

There's a batch conversion/rename menu function (in the File menu), and it's free! Works great...

I use VSO image resizer. It's free...and I've used it for multiples.

Normiss is right, VSO Image Resizer works great. It'll do the whole folder at one time. If I can do it, you can do it!
