shropshire 0 #1 November 2, 2008 QuoteDefending champion Paula Radcliffe stormed to victory in the New York Marathon ahead of Ludmila Petrova and Kara Goucher of the United States. She became the second woman to win the race three times, but unlike her 2004 and 2007 wins this was by a big margin. Radcliffe finished in two hours, 23 minutes, 56 seconds, nearly two minutes ahead of the 40-year-old Petrova. (.)Y(.) LOSTandCRAZY 0 #5 November 2, 2008 Would have been a tad over three hours, but my legs are muscular, and, unlike the legs of marathon runners, full of muscle, you know. Muscle. BIG HUGE quads. I can squat/push over 1000 lbs with them. (That equals small car leg-lifting. Leg press, that is.) I can also ride my bike with no handlebars. Kind of like the difference in that between a free-range chicken and a caged-chicken. Marathon runners resemble the latter. (Little bitty, cartilage-deficient legs, bad hips, etc.) Good work, though, very commendable. I wasn't trying to take anything away from that super-accomplishment, just making jokes (You know, the hahahahahahaha type.) I can ride my bike with no handlebars! http://myspacetv.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=34002859"Get these balls!"

I don't know about him, but in my prime, my best was 37:36 for the 10K (in a college track meet) and 3:29:12 for the marathon (with only 9 months serious training)"Mediocre people don't like high achievers, and high achievers don't like mediocre people." - SIX TIME National Champion coach Nick Saban
