Twoply 0 #1 November 29, 2008 I hear advertisments on the radio about the quality of care given at one hospital or another. Aren't the all about the same?
quade 4 #2 November 29, 2008 QuoteAren't the all about the same? No. Not by a long shot. Being a skydiver for any serious length of time, I'd sort of think you'd know this if not by personal experience, by the experience of your friends.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver

kbordson 8 #5 November 29, 2008 Short answer? Money No, they are not all the same. But, they should all provide basic medical care. But those focus on current cardiac standards are better than those that primarily treat "knife and gun club" patients... and those that have a known trauma center should trump those that might be local (trust me... I'm speaking on experience on this one) It's hard to say... cuz as an OB/Gyn, I would hope that all patients get treated correctly... but there might be a difference. dropdeded 0 #6 November 29, 2008 I work with 7 specific hospital emergency rooms on a regular basis and aside from specific "specialty care", there are a LOT of differences. From my point of view its mostly differences in attitudes and staffing.------------------------------------------ The Dude Abides. -
