Fixed it... Semper Fidelis is a term used amongst Marines. "The Few. The Proud." is their recruiting slogan. It's ok though, I blame President Bush for your lack of knowledge.

"To serve and Protect" is funny, when you consider courts have found the police not responsible for protecting the public, either individually or collectively. If you're being burglarized, mugged, or murdered, the police are not required to save you. Their job is to uphold the law. You need to protect yourself.
